Thomas Reich-Kun sum rule and its relativistic counterpart for radiative decays of new resonances

Description
Assuming that the narrow resonances recently discovered are bound states of a pair of charm-anticharm quarks or heavy fermion-antifermion system, it is shown that good upper limits on the E1 radiative widths between these states can be obtained from the Thomas Reich Kuhn electric dipole sum rule. A relativistic counterpart of the sum rule is also given. (Auth.)
