Electrical transport in Nb/Cu multilayers
Description
The longitudinal resistance, Rxx, the Hall resistance, Rxy, and the critical current density, jc, were measured for two Nb/Cu multilayers with different thickness of the Cu layers. The magnetic field was applied perpendicular to the layers. A peak-like anomaly of Rxy, accompanied by a sign reversal, is interpreted using a phenomenological model. The temperature dependence of jc(T)=jc0(1-T/Tc0)2/T5/2 coincides with the theory of Aslamazov, D'yachkov, and Lempitskii
