Description
An elastic neutron-scattering experiment on the random magnet with competing spin anisotropies Fe0.75Co0.25Br2 clearly shows that the ordering of the spin component parallel to the crystalline c axis induces an ordering of the spin component perpendicular to it. The origin of this simultaneous ordering of the orthogonal spin components comes from a nondiagonal exchange interaction between spins
