Studies of fusion-fission dynamics from pre-scission neutron multiplicities in heavy-ion induced fission reactions
Description
A review of the results on fusion-fission dynamics from pre-scission neutron multiplicity is presented. The results are understood in terms of dynamical trajectory model which also explains anomalous fission fragment anisotropy. Recent measurement of pre-scission neutron multiplicity as a function of fragment emission angle shows the importance of formation delay in fusion-fission process. (author). 16 refs., 6 figs
