Phase diagram of the gadolinium-germanium system

A complete phase diagram of the gadolinium-germanium system is plotted from the results of the microstructural, differential thermal and X-ray diffraction analyses. It is shown for the first time that GdGesub(2.57) is isostructural to YGesub(3.5) (rhombic lattice)
