Description

Perovskite type manganites (AMnO3; A = Gd, Tb, Yb, Dy, Ca. Bi etc.) have been extensively studied over last few decades since they exhibit wide range of fascinating physical properties such as multiferroicity, colossal magneto-resistance, charge ordering, metal insulator transition. Among manganites, Ba-doped SrMnO3 has attracted recent attention due to the existence of strong spin-phonon and magnetoelectric coupling. Here, we present the structural properties of Sr1xBaxMnO3 (x = 0.00, 0.15, 0.30, 0.45) compounds which were synthesized using conventional solid state reaction method. Crystalline structure as studied by performing X-ray diffraction and neutron diffraction measurements, which confirms the single phase character of all the samples
