Description
The authors suggest that the mechanism responsible for ice grains destruction in T Tau stars is erosion by energetic protons (1 MeV) copiously produced by stellar flare activity. During erosion the production of a large quantity of H2 molecules occurs. Some consequences are discussed. (Auth.)
