Description
A tokamak device containing a high vacuum discharge chamber, evacuated shell embracing the chamber and a magnetic system with a magnetic guide is described. The invention is aimed at the simplification of the design of chamber joint with the evacuated shell which embraces the chamber. The present aim is reached by manufacturing the toroidal section of the chamber in the proposed device as an allwelded shell composed of sections with equal electric resistance. Each section in the same cross section is equipped with a radial branch pipe which is hermetically and electrically conneted with the toroidal section of the discharge chamber and with a side wall of the evacuated shell which envelops vertical pillurs of the magnetic guide. The number of vertical branch pipes is a multiple of the number of magnetic quide vertial pillars
