Description
The MDEP program is a common effort of Regulatory Bodies in countries with new nuclear projects interest, with the aim of collaboration in the licensing processes of new reactor designs. The program has defined some tasks, developed in Working Groups, well defined in content and scope, which suppose clear benefits for the participating Regulatory Bodies. this program interacts with different programmes with similar interests. Among them, it is interesting to highlight the activities in the CORDEL Group, of the WNA, made up of nuclear industry entities, that have the aim of showing the benefits of the International Standardization of nuclear designs, accepted by all Regulatory Bodies.
