Determination and comparison of stability constants of vanadium (5) with serine and threonine complexes
Creators
Description
The equilibria in aqueous solutions in the systems serine and threonine with VO+2 have been studied by a combination of potentiometric and spectrophotometric method, in the pH range 1.3-2.3 with high ligand-to-metal ratios. In this study equilibrium model, MY, is assumed, where M and Y represents metal ion and fully dissociated aminoacid anion respectively. The stability constants of these complexations and protonation constants of serine and threonine are also given. 34 refs.,5 figs.,4 tabs
