Two models of flat stellar systems without equatorial symmetry plane
Description
The kinetic method is used to construct self-consistent models of collisionless ellipsoidal disks with quadratic potential in which the rotation axis is either not perpendicular to the principal plane (class i) or lies in it (class ii). The class i model has a fluid analog among the disk-shaped Riemann ellipsoids. A qualitative explanation is put forward for the observed phenomenon of warping of the gas and star disks in flat galaxies
