Structural properties of CdS/ZnO bilayers for photovoltaic purposes

  • 1. Department of Electronics, AGH University of Sciences and Technology, Cracow (Poland)

Description

In the paper we report the influence of deposition parameters of ZnO films and composition of solution used for deposition of CdS films on structural properties of CdS/ZnO layered films. RF power, sputter atmosphere and annealing temperature of ZnO films influenced the XRD investigated structural properties of the CdS/ZnO films in their application to CuInSe2 solar materials. ZnO films deposited by reactive sputtering from Zn metal and Zn(Al) alloy targets in O2/Ar atmosphere. In the preparation of CdS films the CBD method was adopted and for reactions the ammonia-containing and ammonia-free solutions were used. (author)
