Description
The behaviour of the components is evaluated on the basis of the temperatures and pressures arising in core heat-up accidents, as calculated in thermodynamic analyses. The experiments show that failure temperatures arise which are higher than the findings of the theoretical analyses. Specifically, the failure of the reactor pressure vessel may be precluded. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Unter Zugrundelegung der in thermodynamischen Analysen errechneten Temperaturen und Druecke, die beim Kernaufheizunfall auftreten, wird das Verhalten der Komponenten beurteilt. Die Experimente zeigen, dass gegenueber den theoretischen Analysen hoehere Versagenstemperaturen vorhanden sind. Insbesondere ist das Versagen der Reaktordruckbehaelter auszuschliessen.
