Description
All generalised soliton solutions are considered for the cosmological Einstein-Rosen metrics generated by transforming the Kasner metric. Besides some new solutions, several well known cosmological solutions, as well as the recently discussed composite universes, are seen to fall within this class of soliton solutions. The properties of the solutions are briefly explained. (author)
