Results of investigating seismic stability of NPP mechanical structures

The results of investigations into the NPP structure seismic stability are presented. A computation diagram (in the form of a flat frame) is described as well as a mockup of the reactor compartment of a unified NPP tested at a vibration-testing machine for the sinusoidal oscillation mode. An accelerogram used for the computation is presented. It is shown that the accelerograms obtained from simulation tests for the respective points of the structure are somewhat different, as to the frequency components, from the accelerograms constructed on the base of computations, although the values of the maximum acceleration amplitudes are close to each other
