Description
The magnetization and AC susceptibility of liquid quenched R3Co (R=Nd, Tb, Dy) alloys were determined. The magnetic ordering temperatures Tc of the alloys are about 30, 84 and 38 K, respectively. Their magnetic state below Tc can be associated with an asperomagnetic structure. The alloys show large hysteresis loops at low temperature. The coercive field (Hc) depends on the Tc value and increases with increasing Tc. Large discontinuous magnetization jumps were observed for Tb3Co in the vicinity of Hc below 3.5 K. (orig.)
