Rules governing protection and control of nuclear materials

Description
The French national system for accounting and control of nuclear materials was built on a pre-existing set of regulatory texts: the law of 25 July 1980, concerning protection and control of nuclear materials; and on the decrees ensuring its application. A description of those texts, of the organization that was subsequently set up and of the overall measures taken to guarantee observance of those regulations is herein described
