Description
With an auxiliary program developed utilizing the same formulae that the simulator, not working on real time and with constant ρ in the time only, studies were effected where it was varied one of the three parameters, ρ, h, N, maintaining fixed the other two, for several total times of calculation. The data of the reactor for those that the calculations where made are from the RA6 reactor, of the Bariloche Atomic Center. It is a research pool type reactor, with fuel elements of plates. MTR type, and light water as moderator and coolant. The fuel is of metallic enriched uranium at 90% in weight of U 235, in an alloy of uranium-aluminium, included between plates of aluminium. Results of calculations done with N = 6 (six groups of delayed neutrons), and h= 0.005 sec (interval of time between two successive calculations) were taken as reference.
