Description

The mechanism of heavy-ion-induced nuclear reactions is investigated. The exciton model, successfully applied for the description of light-ion-induced reactions is used to heavy-ion-induced processes. Conjectures concerning energy dependence and symmetry properties of the exciton model parameters are checked comparing the measured spectra of emitted light ions with the predictions of the model.
