Effect of Cr ions on transport properties of Cd0.18Hg0.82Se

Description
The electrical halvonomagnetic and thermoelectrical properties of the Cd0.18Hg0.82Se monocrystals, alloyed with chromium are studied within the temperature range of 77-400 K and magnetic fields up to 12 kA/m. It is shown that in case of semiconductors in a narrow-slot state no spatial ordering in the Cr3+ donor system is observed. Low carrier concentrations and high mobilities may be obtained in these samples due to formation of the Cr3+-Cr2+ pairs
