Studies on some rare earths in mixed media ( Solvent extraction and ion exchange separations)
Description
The main objectives of the present work are to investigate the solvent extraction and the adsorption of the lanthanides on the inorganic ion exchangers from different media and select conditions for their separations. Chapter I: summarizes a literature review of the general, radio - and separation chemistry of the lanthanides. Chapter II : gives an account of the different experimental techniques applied throughout the investigation. Chapter III : includes the results as well as their discussion and analysis together with their application in chemical separations
