Effects of mecchanical loads due to power excursions on the reactor tank
Description
Coupled fluid dynamics/structural mechanics codes are developed since 10 years to solve problems in the field of reactor safety. Experimental programmes devised to validate these codes should include scaled models that closely resemble real reactor geometries. During tests with these models, fluid movements as well as the structural strains should be comparable to those arising in the reactor tank under accident conditions. The second shot in the 1/6 scaled model of the SNR-300 fits these conditions. The SEURBNUK post shot calculation demonstrates the capability of the code with adequate results for all salient physical values. But the experiment and consequently the calculation is for validation purposes only suited in a limited way because of the uncertainty of the charge behaviour during the shot. (orig.)

Rechenprogramme, die die Fluid- und Strukturdynamik gekoppelt behandeln, werden seit ca. 10 Jahren entwickelt und besonders zur Loesung von Problemen der Reaktorsicherheit eingesetzt. Um diese Rechenprogramme zu verifizieren, werden Versuche in Modellen durchgefuehrt, die massstabgerecht die reale Reaktorgeometrie widerspiegeln. Dabei sollen sowohl die Fluidbewegungen als auch die Dehnungen in der Struktur von der gleichen Groessenordnung sein, wie sie auch beim Stoerfall im Reaktortank erwartet werden. Der zweite Schuss im 1/6-Modelltank des SNR-300, durchgefuehrt im Joint Research Center (JRC), Ispra, erfuellt diese Bedingungen. Die Nachrechnung dieses Versuches mit SEURBNUK demonstriert die Anwendbarkeit des Programmes anhand der guten Ergebnisse bei allen wesentlichen Groessen. Wegen der Unsicherheit des Ladungsverhaltens waehrend des Experimentes ist dieser Versuch und dementsprechend auch die Nachrechnung nicht zur vollstaendigen Verifizierung des Programms ausreichend.
