Temperature effect on mechanical properties of 0Kh16N15M3BR cold worked steel under plastic deformation
Description
Investigation results for active expansion and creep of 0Kh16N15M3BR steel cold worked by 20% within 1023-1523K temperature range are presented. Abrupt drop of strength limit linked with substructural transformations is detected within 1223-1273K range. Abrupt drop of plasticity resulted from crack formation is determined at temperature higher than 1423K. Thermoactivation analysis of plastic deformation has shown that Virtman dependence is substituted for Zhurkov one used for analytical description at temperatures near 1273K
