Recent developments in the field of monitoring and early detection techniques
Description
The present paper describes monitoring systems of the primary circuit of LWR type reactors, gives an overview of the actual state of the art of system engineering, and, above all, deals with new promising methods of analysis and diagnosis. The paper covers systems for continuous operational monitoring of loose parts in the interior of the pressure boundary, set in motion or carried away by the coolant, performed by the acoustic monitoring system KUeS; for monitoring the structural integrity of the primary system including its internals, performed by the vibration monitoring system SUeS; for monitoring the loss of coolant from the pressurized system, performed by the acoustic leak monitoring system ALUeS; for monitoring the degree of fatigue or utilization factor of heavy-duty component zones, performed by the fatigue monitoring system FAMOS; for monitoring crack formation or propagation in extreme heavy-duty zones, performed by the crack monitoring system RUeS. Abstract (German)
Der vorliegende Vortrag beschreibt Ueberwachungssysteme am Primaerkreis von Leichtwasserreaktoren, gibt eine Uebersicht ueber den derzeitigen, modernen Stand der Systemtechnik und geht vor allem auf neue zukunftsweisende Methoden der Analytik und Diagnostik ein. Behandelt werden Systeme zur kontinuierlichen betrieblichen Ueberwachung auf lose und lockere Teile im Inneren der druckfuehrenden Umschliessung, die durch das Kuehlmittel in Bewegung versetzt bzw. mitgerissen werden, mit dem Koerperschallueberwachungssystem KUeS, der strukturellen Integritaet des Primaersystems inklusive seiner Einbauten mit dem Schwingungsueberwachungssystem SUeS, auf Entweichen des Kuehlmittels aus dem druckfuehrenden System mit dem akustischen Leckueberwachungssystem ALUeS, des Ermuedungsgrades bzw. des Ausnutzungsfaktors hochbelasteter Komponentenbereiche mit dem Ermuedungsueberwachungssystem FAMOS, auf Rissentstehung bzw. Risswachstum in hoeherbelasteten Zonen mit dem Rissueberwachungssystem RUeS. (orig.)Additional details
