Classification of TMI wastes

Description
The cleanup of TMI-2 will produce a wide variety of waste types. Based on the proposed 10 CFR 61 waste classification system these wastes will primary fall in Classes A, B, and C. However, a limited quantity of the wastes will exceed the Class C limits. DOE has agreed to accept the high activity and unusual wastes for research and development studies and disposal
