Description
The analytical review of theoretical studies on energetics of ion solvation is presented. Data (calculated and experimental) on thermodynamic parameters of solvation, energies of solvate complex formation and equilibrium internuclear distances in them for different systems electrolyte-solvent, particularly, for ions of alkali-halide salts are considered. The approach for obtaining individual characteristics of ions in solutions is developed on the quantum-chemical and statistical-thermodynamic bases
