Radiation experiment DFR-GG7. AS2-500 variant comparison test
Description
Automatic translation: As part of the reactor graphite development program, the Pitch Coke Graphite AS2-500 2 batches (50 t) manufactured and characterized. Two recipes with a maximum grain of 3 and were used for production 1 mm. There is also pre-production material from 1968 with a maximum grain size of 10 mm. The present characteristics are in Table 1 for the respective AS2 Comparison values as well as the preliminary specifications of the GA of 7/8/72. The 3 mm variant was defined as the German reference graphite at the beginning of 1972, on which the irradiation program is focused.
Abstract (German)
Im Rahmen des Entwicklungsprogramms Reaktorgraphit wurden bisher von dem Pechkoksgraphit AS2-500 2 Chargen (50 t) gefertigt und charakterisiert. Zur Herstellung dienten zwei Rezepturen mit einem maximalen Korn von 3 und 1 mm. Aus 1968 existiert zusätzlich Vorproduktionsmaterial mit 10 mm Maximalkorn. Die vorliegenden Kenndaten sind in Tabelle 1 den jeweiligen AS2 Richtwerten sowie den vorläufigen Spezifikationen der GA vom 7.8.72 gegenübergestellt. Als deutscher Referenzgraphit wurde Anfang 1972 die 3 mm Variante festgelegt, auf die das Bestrahlungsprogramm schwerpunktmäßig ausgerichtet ist.Files
