Radiation-chemical behavior of plutonium in solutions DAMP and TOPO in n-dodeoane

  • 1. SSC A.A. Bochvar All-Russia Research Institute of Inorganic Materials, Moscow (Russian Federation)

Description

The extraction ability of di-isoamylmetylphosphonic acid ether (DAMP), and the octylphosphinoxide (TOPO) is superior to one of TBP and TIAP. Radiation stability of DAMP and TOPO exceeds one of the alcylphosphates. Radiation-chemical behavior is of interest in this connection. Some questions of radiation-chemical behavior of Plutonium in gamma-irradiated (to 2,5·106 Gy) solutions of DAMP and TOPO (10% and 5%, respectively) have been studied by spectrophotometry
