Description
The objective of the project is to improve the accuracy of the current data on absorbed dose from radiopharmaceuticals to patients and to produce dose data for new radiopharmaceuticals. The results were used to quantify organ doses as well as effective dose equivalents or effective doses. The results will enable comparison of different radionuclides for labelling, and to determine the appropriate activity to be administered, in order to avoid unnecessary radiation exposure of the patient. The objectives and results of the three contributions to the project for the reporting period are presented. (R.P.) 3 refs
