Exposure doses and radiographic testing efficiency
Creators
Description
The technique of determining radiation doses when performing operations of radiographic testing by chromometry, is described. Operation with the pipe gamma defectoscope of the ''Gammarid'' type and other types of gamma defectoscopes, is considered as an example. The individual dose equivalent accumulated for a shift is summed from doses due to various radiographic testing operations. Efficiency of radiographic testing on the basis of acceptable radiation doses of radioscopists for a shift and for a year is estimated
