Infinite Nsub(c) QCD at finite temperature: Is there an ultimate temperature

Description

We argue that the large Nsub(c) limit of QCD possesses a phase transition at finite temperature. Its existence prevents the use of asymptotic freedom to calculate the asymptotic mass level density of glueballs and mesons in infinite Nsub(c) QCD. (orig.)
