Inverse Schrodinger scattering in three dimensions
Description
This book presents the inverse scattering problem, in which the inter-particle forces that give rise to scattering or the inhomogeneous constitution of a medium that supports waves, are inferred from the scattering data. The importance of these inferences in particle physics, chemical physics, seismology, and nondestructive testing is discussed. Focus is on the Schrodinger equation in three dimensions with a potential that is noncentral and without any assumed symmetry properties
