Description
The applications of lasers for the formation of plasma antennas, known from the literature, are analyzed. The characteristics of laser plasma and plasma created on the basis of conventional gas-discharge devices are compared. It is shown that the use of laser allows to create plasma antennas with a wider range of controlled characteristics. The highest plasma formation efficiency and ease of control characteristics can be achieved in laser semiconductor plasma antennas. Methods have been developed to study the receiving and transmitting characteristics of laser semiconductor antennas. The first results of theoretical and experimental studies of the characteristics of laser semiconductor antennas are presented

Проанализированы известные из литературы применения лазеров для формирования плазменных антенн. Проведено сравнение характеристик плазмы, создаваемой с помощью лазера и на основе обычных газоразрядных устройств. Показано, что применение лазера позволяет формировать плазменные антенны с более широким диапазоном управляемых характеристик. Наиболее высокие эффективность генерации плазмы и легкость управления характеристиками может быть достигнуто в лазерных полупроводниковых плазменных антеннах. Разработаны методики для исследования приемо-передающих характеристик лазерных полупроводниковых антенн и представлены результаты исследований их характеристикAdditional details
