A report on the fifth international conference on plasma physics and controlled nuclear fusion research, November, 1074, Tokyo

A summary is given of the papers presented at the Fifth International Conference on Plasma Physics and Controlled Nuclear Fusion Research which was organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). A major value of the conference lay in demonstrating the steady progress and increasing understanding of the physics of controlled nuclear fusion, rather than any limited number of highlights. (U.K.)
