Description
International Organizations involved with radiation protection are presented in the first part. Also some documents related to the radiation that have been published by these organizations. Among the analyzed contents are the radiation and their patients, how to avoid the damage of radiation, pregnancy and exposure to medical radiation, effects of radiation, recommendations for the protection and safety standards. Occupational exposure is defined as the exposure received and understood by a worker during a period of work. In addition, it shows the types of occupational exposure, the protection that workers must have with the radiation, regulations, laws and the regulatory authority that protects the medical personnel in the uses of radiology

Organizaciones Internacionales involucradas con la proteccion radiologica se presentan en la primera parte. Tambien algunos documentos relacionados con la radiacion que han sido publicados por estas organizaciones. Entre los contenidos analizados se encuentran la radiacion y sus pacientes, como evitar los danos de la radiacion, embarazo y la exposicion a la radiacion medica, efectos de las radiaciones, recomendaciones para la proteccion y estandares de seguridad. Se define la exposicion ocupacional como la exposicion recibida por un trabajador y comprendida durante un periodo de trabajo.
