Hadron interactions
Description
Most of our information about the structure and properties of sub atomic particles is based on the analysis of high energy scattering data. Describing the dynamics of particle interactions, the Standard Model is currently the accepted theoretical framework of particle physics. In this paper, starting with a brief account of the history oa particle physics, we review some aspects of the Standard Model which are used to describe high energy hadron interactions. (author)
