Evaluation of possibility of ferroelectric properties occurrence for materials on the BeO basis

Description
A new mechanism of phase transition in beryllium oxide is proposed. A phenomenologic potential enabling forecasts of the topology of the phase diagram of BeO-based solid solutions is constructed on the basis of the proposed mechanism. The calculation points to a potential possibility to produce BeO-based high-temperature ferroelectrics
