Description
Samples of milk and fodder were taken in order to analyze their 137Cs, inactive Cs and K content. No discrimination against Cs could be observed in the bovine organism as the ratio of Cs to K was similar in milk and in fodder. The major part of the radioactive contamination of milk consists of 137Cs, as the radiostrontium contamination of milk is approx. one order of magnitude lower than that of fodder. (L.E.)
