Water radioactivity in the environs of UJV Rez
Description
Reported is the continuous monitoring of the radioactivity of water in the Vltava river in the vicinity of the Institute of Nuclear Research in Rez. Before 1986, average total specific beta activity was about 0.5 Bq/l. After the Chernobyl accident it increased to up to 3.9 Bq/l. In that period special attention was focused on the time course of the specific activity of 131I. (M.D.). 1 tab., 3 refs
