Experimental study of complex molecular systems using collisions with slow multicharged ions
Description
My research activity began in 2002 when I did my DEA internship. From 2002 to 2007, a period covering my PhD thesis and a post-doctoral internship, I studied the interaction of ions or atoms with surfaces. When I was recruited as a lecturer at the University of Caen Basse-Normandie on 1 October 2007, I joined the aEuros 'Atoms, molecules and aggregates' (AMA) team at CIMAP (Centre de recherche sur les ions, les materiaux et la photonique). My arrival at CIMAP marked a thematic reconversion with a research activity focused on the experimental study of the stability of complex molecular systems. My research activities since 2007 can be grouped into three categories: - probing the properties of complex molecular systems with multicharged ions; - studying the effects of the molecular environment on the fragmentation of these systems; - studying the reactivity induced in aggregates by collision with slow ions. After an introductory chapter, this thesis is divided in this way and ends with a description of the prospects opened up by this work

Mon activite de recherche a commence en 2002 lorsque j'ai effectue mon stage de DEA. De 2002 a 2007, periode couvrant mon doctorat et un stage post-doctoral, j'ai etudie l'interaction d'ions ou d'atomes avec des surfaces. Depuis mon recrutement le 1er octobre 2007 en tant que maitre de conferences a l'Universite de Caen Basse-Normandie, j'ai rejoint l'equipe 'Atomes, molecules et agregats' (AMA) du CIMAP (Centre de recherche sur les ions, les materiaux et la photonique). Mon arrivee au CIMAP a marque une reconversion thematique avec une activite de recherche centree sur l'etude experimentale de la stabilite de systemes moleculaires complexes. Mes activites de recherches depuis 2007 peuvent etre regroupees dans trois categories: - sonder les proprietes des systemes moleculaires complexes avec des ions multicharges; - etudier les effets de l'environnement moleculaire sur la fragmentation de ces systemes; - etudier la reactivite induite dans des agregats par la collision avec des ions lents. Apres un chapitre d'introduction, ce memoire est donc divise de cette maniere et il se termine par une description des perspectives ouvertes par ces travauxFiles
