Description
The article describes a vault-type store for dry storage of spent fuel from nuclear power plants or vitrified high-level waste from reprocessing plants. Heat is removed from the storage facility by natural air convection with a passive direct or indirect cooling circuit. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Im Beitrag wird ein Blocklager vorgestellt, das zur trockenen Lagerung abgebrannter Brennelemente aus Kernkraftwerken oder verglasten hochaktiven Abfalls aus der Wiederaufarbeitung dient. Die Waermeabfuhr des Lagerguts erfolgt dabei durch Luft, und zwar ueber ein passives Kuehlsystem (Naturkonvektion) im Direkt- oder Indirektkreislauf. (orig.)Additional details
