The conceptual design of a tandem cusp thermonuclear reactor

Creators

  • 1. Plasma Physics Group, Physics Department, National University of Singapore

Description

The authors have studied various reference designs for classical tandem cusp based fusion power reactors. The classical design is strongly limited by neutron wall loading. Several nonclassical design options are identified which offer the promise of substantial performance improvement
