Selective photochemical reaction of ortho-iodine molecules during excitation by laser radiation

A reaction of excited molecules of iodine with olefine is considered herein. The reaction involves excited molecules, its selectivity having been studied with binding of ortho-J2 molecules taken as an example. Ortho-J2 and para-J2 molecules have been separated by laser.
