Description

With a data sample of 2.6 million bb pairs and 4.8 million cc pairs produced at the CESR e+e- storage ring, the CLEOII collaboration has new results on several poorly known decay processes. We have measured the branching ratio and the form factor f+(q2) in the B0 → D+l-ν. The differential decay rate, analyzed in terms of the variable w = v.v', agrees with the HQET prediction for the form factor at w = 1, F(1), and its slope ρ2. Further, we have determined the branching ratios for semileptonic B- decay to the p-wave charmed mesons, D2*0 and D10, and made the first statistically significant measurement of the branching ratio for D*+ → D+γ.
