Peculiarities of using catalytic polarographic currents in water analysis
Description
Practical recommendations for the use of catalytic currents in analysis of water are formulated. It is pointed out that the distinctions in the slopes of calibration plots when analyzing river and distilled water and in the limiting concentrations of catalytic action species must be taken into account. A polarographic procedure for vanadium(5) determination in water is described, which provides a detection limit of 3x10-8 mol/l. 6 refs.; 4 figs.; 3 tabs
