Description

This paper presents the preliminary results of obtaining of SnO2 nanocrystals. Irradiating an aqueous solution of 0.13M SnCl4.5(H2O) with ultrasounds during 150 min at a temperature of 65 oC, and using as a precipitant ammonia 25 % was obtained SnO2 nanocrystals with a crystallite size of 2 nm. The SnO2 nanocrystals efficiency is 92 %, these nanocrystals were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning and transmission electron microscopy. The crystallite size of SnO2 nanocrystals was determined using the TOPAS ACADEMIC software. (orig.)
