Description

The paper describes mathematical models for 137Cs and 90Sr behavior in body of horses and sheep grazing the area adjacent to the 'Experimental Field' Technical Area of the Semipalatinsk test site. The models were parametrized on the basis of experimental data for those breeds of animals that are currently encountered within the Semipalatinsk test area. The predictive conclusions using devised models have shown that 137Cs and 90Sr concentration in milk of horses and sheep grazing the Experimental field are can exceed the adopted standards during a long period of time.
