Nielsen-Taylor effect in the thermopower of dilute indium alloys
Creators

Description
Measurements of the thermopower of dilute alloys of Tl, Sn, Cd, Pb, Ga, and Mg in indium over the temperature range 4--120 K are reported. The results are interpreted in terms of phonon drag and the Nielsen-Taylor theory of diffusion thermopower. Qualitative agreement with the Nielsen-Taylor theory is found
