Description
Control measurements are carried out in nuclear facilities to determine the specific activity of a medium. This is done in two ways. On the one hand, a continuously working measuring system is installed to determine specific activities independently of the isotopic composition so that an increase of activity due to a reactor incident will be immediately detected. In addition to this, the isotopic composition of the mixture is controlled by periodical sampling in laboratories. (RW/AK)
Abstract (German)
(RW)Additional details
