Description
Techniques to operate a valve in such a way as to limit the pressure to a preselected maximum are available. These techniques, known as valve stroking, have been applied to many complicated piping systems. However, the optimum techniques have been applied only to a simple pipeline between a reservoir and a valve. This paper extends the techniques to series pipelines
